Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Biology at GCSE and A Level, ensuring a high standard of academic delivery.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Science curriculum.
- Participate actively in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.
- Provide pastoral care and mentorship to students where appropriate.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Stay up to date with developments in Biology and educational research.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a degree in Biology or a related subject.
- Relevant teaching experience, ideally in a school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality lessons.
- Commitment to student welfare and the promotion of British values.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience teaching at both GCSE and A Level.
- Experience with inclusive education and supporting students with diverse needs.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methods and technologies.
- Leadership experience or a willingness to take on departmental responsibilities.
