The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Science Teacher to deliver an outstanding curriculum in Key Stages 3 and 4. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to A Level Physics in future years and make a meaningful impact on student learning and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality science lessons that inspire and engage students.
• Develop and implement an effective curriculum in Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Support students in achieving excellent academic results and fostering a love of science.
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of A Level Physics where appropriate.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the science department.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
• Engage with the school community and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in science education.
• Strong subject knowledge in science, particularly physics.
• Experience in delivering curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Commitment to character development and student well-being.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching A Level Physics.
• Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technologies.
• Ability to contribute to extracurricular science activities.
• Experience working in a school with a strong values-based ethos.
