The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching across the BTEC National Extended Certificate, Diploma, and Extended Diploma in Uniformed Protective Services.
- Inspire and motivate students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and resources that align with curriculum standards.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the learning experience.
- Support students in raising aspirations and preparing for future opportunities, including higher education and employment.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the school’s teaching and learning strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in BTEC Uniformed Protective Services or a related field.
- Proven ability to teach across a range of BTEC qualifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student achievement and personal development.
- Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching within a sixth form college or similar setting.
- Experience with the BTEC National qualifications.
- Evidence of achieving good or outstanding results in previous roles.
- Experience with pastoral support and student engagement.
- Familiarity with the latest teaching methodologies and technologies.
