Job Description

Summary:

Site Supervisor needed for a full-time, permanent role at a school in the North of England.

The Opportunity:

As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the maintenance, cleaning, and security of the academy. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for students, staff, and visitors throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage general maintenance tasks across the academy premises.
  • Ensure all cleaning schedules are completed to the highest standard.
  • Oversee and maintain security protocols and procedures.
  • Log all maintenance, cleaning, and security checks on the Trust’s electronic reporting system.
  • Coordinate with other staff to address any issues promptly.
  • Monitor and report on the condition of buildings and facilities.
  • Support the smooth running of the academy during all hours of operation.
  • Assist with emergency situations when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in maintenance, cleaning, or security roles.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and late evenings.
  • Commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an educational setting.
  • Previous experience with electronic reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
