Join a school as a Finance Administrator on a part-time, temporary basis starting in May 2026.

The Opportunity:
As a Finance Administrator, you will support the school’s financial management by providing accurate information and ensuring procedures are followed. This role is ideal for someone looking to make a meaningful contribution to a school that values its staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Finance Officer/Manager in managing financial processes and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to meet the school’s requirements.
- Maintain and update financial records in line with best practices and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Provide administrative support for financial meetings and audits.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial policies are followed consistently.
- Monitor and report on financial performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial legislation and guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in a finance or administration role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Knowledge of financial systems and software, such as Sage or Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Preferred
- Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational organisation.
- Familiarity with school budgeting and financial planning processes.
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
