The Opportunity:

As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will support teaching staff in creating a positive learning environment for students. You will help manage classroom activities, assist with learning programs, and contribute to the overall success of the school. Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching staff in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
• Assist with the implementation of learning and care programs for students.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to students as required.
• Work closely with teachers to monitor student progress and provide feedback.
• Assist with administrative tasks and record-keeping as needed.
• Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities.
• Contribute to the overall management and organization of the classroom.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to supporting student learning and well-being.
• Flexibility to work term time only and on a part-time basis.

Preferred

• Experience in a school environment, particularly with students with additional needs.
• Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices.
• Experience with curriculum support and learning programs.
• Familiarity with educational technology and resources.
