The Opportunity:
As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will support teaching staff in creating a positive learning environment for students. You will help manage classroom activities, assist with learning programs, and contribute to the overall success of the school. Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching staff in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
- Assist with the implementation of learning and care programs for students.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students as required.
- Work closely with teachers to monitor student progress and provide feedback.
- Assist with administrative tasks and record-keeping as needed.
- Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to the overall management and organization of the classroom.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to supporting student learning and well-being.
- Flexibility to work term time only and on a part-time basis.
Preferred
- Experience in a school environment, particularly with students with additional needs.
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices.
- Experience with curriculum support and learning programs.
- Familiarity with educational technology and resources.
