The Opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business and Economics Teacher to join our Secondary / High School Department. The successful candidate will teach Business Management and Economics within the IB Diploma Programme, as well as courses within the Cambridge International curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver student-centred, inquiry-based lessons aligned with IB pedagogy
- Emphasise conceptual understanding and real-world applications of business and economics
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment grounded in empathy and respect
- Contribute actively to the school’s development as a collaborative and dynamic learning community
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments
- Use educational technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Develop and implement effective assessment strategies
- Support student learning through differentiated instruction and feedback
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience at the secondary/high school level
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
- Experience with IB DP, IB MYP, and/or Cambridge International curricula
- Confidence in using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Experience in developing and implementing assessment strategies
- Demonstrated ability to support student learning through differentiated instruction
