The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business and Economics Teacher to join our Secondary / High School Department. The successful candidate will teach Business Management and Economics within the IB Diploma Programme, as well as courses within the Cambridge International curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver student-centred, inquiry-based lessons aligned with IB pedagogy
  • Emphasise conceptual understanding and real-world applications of business and economics
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment grounded in empathy and respect
  • Contribute actively to the school’s development as a collaborative and dynamic learning community
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments
  • Use educational technology to enhance teaching and learning
  • Develop and implement effective assessment strategies
  • Support student learning through differentiated instruction and feedback

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience at the secondary/high school level
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience with IB DP, IB MYP, and/or Cambridge International curricula
  • Confidence in using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning
  • Experience in developing and implementing assessment strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to support student learning through differentiated instruction
