Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based science lessons aligned with the GCSE curriculum
- Promote conceptual understanding and critical thinking through innovative teaching practices
- Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen the science programme and support interdisciplinary learning
- Support students’ academic, social, and personal development in an international school environment
- Develop and implement effective assessment strategies that align with international standards
- Participate in professional development and continuous learning initiatives
- Engage in extracurricular activities and student mentorship opportunities
- Contribute to the development of science resources and teaching materials
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field
- Teaching qualification and relevant experience in Middle School Science (GCSE)
- Strong understanding of inquiry-based and concept-driven teaching approaches
- Commitment to collaboration and continuous professional learning
Preferred
- Experience teaching IBDP Science subjects
- Familiarity with Cambridge International and IB curricula
- Experience in an international school setting
