The Opportunity:
We are seeking an English Teacher to join our dynamic team and support the development of the IB MYP programme. This role offers the chance to shape curriculum delivery and make a meaningful impact on student learning within a progressive international school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver inquiry-based English lessons aligned with IB MYP principles
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the MYP curriculum
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate on interdisciplinary learning and curriculum planning
- Support students’ academic and social-emotional growth
- Engage in professional development and reflective practice
- Foster a student-centred learning environment
- Work closely with colleagues across departments
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Literature, or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ teaching experience, preferably in an international setting
- Excellent command of English and effective classroom management
Preferred
- Familiarity with the IB MYP/DP frameworks
- Experience with Cambridge International Education
- Commitment to inquiry-based and student-centred learning
