Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and facilitate concept-driven Units of Inquiry aligned with IB PYP standards;
• Lead learning across core areas including language, mathematics, science, arts, and transdisciplinary themes;
• Implement project-based learning strategies to enhance student engagement;
• Use formative and summative assessment to support and document student progress;
• Collaborate with colleagues through shared planning using platforms such as ManageBac or Classroom Dojo;
• Foster learner agency and support students’ social-emotional development;
• Engage with parents through formal conferences, regular communication, and community building activities;
• Promote a culturally rich and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant teaching qualification;
• Minimum 3 years’ teaching experience in primary or international education settings;
• Familiarity with the IB PYP framework or strong willingness to train in PYP pedagogy;
• Excellent English communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience with project-based learning;
• Strong understanding of transdisciplinary teaching approaches;
• Experience with international curricula such as Cambridge or IB;
• Demonstrated ability to support student well-being and social-emotional learning.
