Key Responsibilities:

• Teach A Level Economics and Business Studies, as well as BTEC Business qualifications.
• Deliver engaging and real-world focused lessons that develop students’ confidence and understanding.
• Support the use of IT tools such as Teams and OneNote to enhance teaching and learning.
• Participate in departmental CPD and contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum.
• Engage in pastoral care and support student well-being and personal development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and best practices.
• Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of teaching and learning.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A good honours degree in a related subject and postgraduate certificate in education (QTS).
• Experience teaching A Level Business and/or BTEC Business.
• Willingness to engage with Continuing Professional Development.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to succeed.
• Proficient in the use of IT including Teams and OneNote.
• Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Preferred

• Experience with online learning platforms and digital resources.
• Strong record of academic achievement and student progression.
• Experience in developing and delivering enrichment activities.
• Background in teaching both A Level and BTEC qualifications.
