Key Responsibilities:

  • Support student well-being through strong pastoral care and high expectations for behaviour.

  • Monitor and assess student progress through formative and summative assessments.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in English education.
  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum for 11-19 year olds.
  • Experience in delivering engaging, research-informed lessons.
  • Commitment to the school’s values of ambition, opportunity, and community.
  • Fluency in spoken English (essential requirement for this role).
  • Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding training.

Preferred

  • Experience in pastoral care or student support.
  • Background in teaching English as a Second Language.
