The Opportunity:

As a Business Support Officer HR and Welfare, you will provide essential administrative and HR support to ensure the smooth running of the school. This is a vital role in helping to create a supportive and successful learning environment for students, teachers, and the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain HR and welfare-related administrative tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support the delivery of HR policies, procedures, and employee welfare initiatives.
  • Coordinate and manage staff and pupil welfare programs, ensuring compliance with school and legal standards.
  • Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of HR records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with school leadership and support teams to ensure the needs of the school are met.
  • Support the implementation of policies related to staff and student wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR and welfare services within the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
  • Experience of working in an administrative setting.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Effective use of ICT packages.

Preferred

  • Experience of HR Administration.
