The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our thriving Science Faculty and support students across KS3, 4, and 5. This role offers the chance to make a real impact in a school that is committed to continuous improvement and provides excellent support for all staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative Science curricula aligned with school values and standards.
- Support student progress through targeted interventions and differentiated teaching.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance Science teaching and share best practices.
- Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching and leadership skills.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral support.
- Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and senior staff.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Science Teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
- Experience teaching Science to students across KS3, 4, and 5.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or contributing to Science department initiatives.
- Experience with inclusive teaching strategies and supporting students with diverse needs.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
- Experience in pastoral care or student support roles.
