The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our thriving Science Faculty and support students across KS3, 4, and 5. This role offers the chance to make a real impact in a school that is committed to continuous improvement and provides excellent support for all staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Develop and implement engaging and innovative Science curricula aligned with school values and standards.
  • Support student progress through targeted interventions and differentiated teaching.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance Science teaching and share best practices.
  • Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching and leadership skills.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral support.
  • Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and senior staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Science Teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
  • Experience teaching Science to students across KS3, 4, and 5.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or contributing to Science department initiatives.
  • Experience with inclusive teaching strategies and supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
  • Experience in pastoral care or student support roles.
