The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Business Teacher to join a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on students' futures. The role involves teaching A level Business and the BTEC Extended Certificate in Business, with a focus on raising aspirations and supporting student achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in A level Business and BTEC Extended Certificate in Business.
- Inspire and motivate students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans and resources that align with curriculum requirements.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching and learning across the department.
- Support the wider college community through participation in extra-curricular activities and pastoral care.
- Stay up to date with industry developments and incorporate relevant content into teaching.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s academic and pastoral support systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience in teaching Business at A level and BTEC.
- Proven ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
- Demonstrable record of outstanding results and commitment to student success.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Preferred
- Experience in post-16 education or initial teacher training with a strong potential for teaching in this age range.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Experience in developing and delivering applied general qualifications.
- Experience in coaching or mentoring other teachers.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of £33,465 - £51,714 per annum.
