The Opportunity:

As a Learning Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting student success through strategic intervention, welfare, and data-driven monitoring. This role is ideal for someone passionate about removing barriers to learning and ensuring all students thrive in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor student welfare and academic progress using MIS systems and data analytics.
• Act as the first point of contact for behaviour-related incidents and manage the consequences process.
• Liaise with external agencies and chair inter-agency meetings such as Children in Need and Team Around the Child.
• Coordinate year group logistics, including attendance checks, vaccinations, and photographs.
• Support the Education Welfare Officer with truancy sweeps and student readmission meetings.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience working in a school environment.
• Demonstrable knowledge of issues affecting students and young people.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in using standard ICT packages, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines.

Preferred

• Experience working with agencies that support vulnerable students.
• Knowledge of child safeguarding practices.
