The Opportunity:

As a Campus Lead, you will provide strong leadership and management within a specialist further education college, ensuring outstanding outcomes for learners with SEND, SEMH, autism and associated needs. This role is central to driving the institution’s strategic vision and maintaining high standards across the campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the campus team to deliver high-quality education, support, and pastoral care for learners with SEND, SEMH, autism, and associated needs.
  • Act as the main point of contact for staff, learners, parents/carers, and external agencies.
  • Oversee teaching standards, learner progress, curriculum planning, and assessment strategies.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive culture, leading on behaviour management, learner wellbeing, and safeguarding.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, health and safety, and data protection requirements.
  • Monitor attendance and implement strategies to improve learner engagement.
  • Line manage teaching and support staff, implementing performance management and professional development plans.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents/carers, staff, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Degree in Education or related field and Qualified Teacher Status (or working towards).
  • Minimum 5 years teaching experience with leadership experience in specialist education.
  • Experience working with learners with SEND/SEMH and managing staff and operational compliance.
  • Strong understanding of SEND legislation, safeguarding, and Ofsted/ISA requirements.

Preferred

  • Leadership qualification.
  • Experience in improving learner outcomes and behaviour.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
