Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized career counseling and guidance to students across all grade levels
• Develop and implement career exploration programs and activities
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and students to support academic and career planning
• Conduct career assessments and interpret results to assist students in identifying strengths and interests
• Stay current with college admissions processes and career development trends
• Deliver workshops and presentations on career planning, college applications, and personal development
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student counseling sessions
• Support students in identifying and applying to suitable post-secondary education and career opportunities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years experience in career counseling or related advisory roles
• Strong knowledge of career development theories and practices
• Familiarity with the United States educational system and college admission processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• Proficient in using career assessment tools and resources
• Experience working in an international school environment
• Background in student support services or academic advising
• Knowledge of AP Program and Next Generation Science Standards
