Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the Cambridge International Curriculum, ensuring student success and engagement.
- Support and assess student progress using innovative teaching strategies and provide meaningful feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices for continuous improvement.
- Participate in co-curricular activities, including academic competitions, clubs, and sports.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents to support their learning and well-being.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Experience teaching Chemistry at KS3 to 5 in a UK or British-curriculum school
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in international education
- Proven record of student success and achievement
- Strong knowledge of inquiry-based and student-centred learning approaches
- Commitment to holistic education and student development
Preferred
- Familiarity with modern pedagogical approaches and assessment strategies
- Experience in curriculum development and leadership
- Fluency in English and other languages
- Experience with international school communities and cross-cultural collaboration
