The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the Cambridge International Curriculum, ensuring student success and engagement.
  • Support and assess student progress using innovative teaching strategies and provide meaningful feedback.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in co-curricular activities, including academic competitions, clubs, and sports.
  • Build strong relationships with students and parents to support their learning and well-being.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching Chemistry at KS3 to 5 in a UK or British-curriculum school
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in international education
  • Proven record of student success and achievement
  • Strong knowledge of inquiry-based and student-centred learning approaches
  • Commitment to holistic education and student development

Preferred

  • Familiarity with modern pedagogical approaches and assessment strategies
  • Experience in curriculum development and leadership
  • Fluency in English and other languages
  • Experience with international school communities and cross-cultural collaboration
