The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative chemistry lessons to students up to A Level.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of science curriculum across all key stages.
- Support students through individualised attention and proactive pastoral care.
- Participate actively in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methods.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Stay up to date with developments in the field of chemistry and science education.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in chemistry or a related science subject.
- Experience teaching chemistry up to A Level.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative lessons.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take on a proactive role in school life.
Preferred
- Experience in a school setting with a focus on student engagement and pastoral care.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
- Familiarity with modern teaching technologies and resources.
