Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Chemistry to students up to A level.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student achievement and interest in the subject.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of co-curricular activities and extra-curricular events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience for students.
  • Support the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
  • Stay updated with developments in the field of Chemistry and incorporate them into teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience in teaching Chemistry.
  • Experience teaching Chemistry up to A level.
  • Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in both the private and state sectors.
  • NQTs are welcome to apply.
  • Experience in co-curricular or extra-curricular activities.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technologies.
