Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality drama lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies.
  • Support the pastoral and co-curricular programme, including school productions and events.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the drama curriculum and student experience.
  • Provide regular feedback and assessment to support student progress.
  • Engage with parents and contribute to the school’s communication strategy.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in drama education.
  • Strong classroom management and pastoral skills.
  • Excellent planning, teaching, and assessment abilities.
  • Commitment to the school’s Catholic ethos and values.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching additional subjects such as English or Music.
  • Involvement in co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
  • Experience with safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
