Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging Citizenship lessons that promote critical thinking and active participation.

  • Support students in understanding their role in the wider community and the importance of civic responsibility.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Citizenship or a related subject.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to inclusion, diversity, and student wellbeing.
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and implementing citizenship-focused curricula.
  • Background in ethics, social studies, or related fields.
  • Experience with student mentorship or pastoral care.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
