The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Class Teacher to provide high-quality education and support to students in EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2, depending on experience. This is a fixed-term role until August 2027, offering an opportunity to contribute to a school committed to student progress and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and educational goals.
- Promote positive behaviour and create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
- Support student progress through regular assessment, feedback, and targeted interventions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to student learning.
- Participate in professional development and share best practices with the school community.
- Manage classroom resources and maintain a well-organised learning environment.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of extra-curricular activities and school events.
- Monitor and report on student progress and attainment regularly.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in early years or primary education.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Experience in working within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain high standards of behaviour.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering teaching in EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2.
- Experience with inclusive education and supporting diverse student needs.
- Familiarity with curriculum design and assessment strategies.
- Experience in leading or contributing to extra-curricular activities.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary on the Main Pay Scale (£40,317 - £52,300 FTE).
