The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Class Teacher to provide high-quality education and support to students in EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2, depending on experience. This is a fixed-term role until August 2027, offering an opportunity to contribute to a school committed to student progress and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and educational goals.
  • Promote positive behaviour and create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
  • Support student progress through regular assessment, feedback, and targeted interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to student learning.
  • Participate in professional development and share best practices with the school community.
  • Manage classroom resources and maintain a well-organised learning environment.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of extra-curricular activities and school events.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and attainment regularly.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in early years or primary education.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Experience in working within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain high standards of behaviour.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering teaching in EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2.
  • Experience with inclusive education and supporting diverse student needs.
  • Familiarity with curriculum design and assessment strategies.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to extra-curricular activities.
