Summary:

Cleaning Supervisor role in a multi-academy trust with growth opportunities in Leeds, Bradford, Manchester and Liverpool.

The Opportunity:

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the Business Services team as the trust continues to grow across multiple locations. This role offers the opportunity to lead and drive improvement in a dynamic and values-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise cleaning staff across multiple sites in Leeds, Bradford, Manchester and Liverpool.
  • Ensure all cleaning standards and health and safety protocols are consistently met.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards.
  • Monitor and report on cleaning performance and compliance with trust policies.
  • Support the continuous improvement of cleaning services across the trust.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a clean and safe environment for students and staff.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to the cleaning team to maintain a positive and productive workplace.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a cleaning or facilities management setting.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or large educational institution.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in cleaning.
  • Experience with flexible working arrangements and hybrid working models.
  • A strong moral purpose and drive for improvement.
