The Opportunity:
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the Business Services team as the trust continues to grow across multiple locations. This role offers the opportunity to lead and drive improvement in a dynamic and values-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise cleaning staff across multiple sites in Leeds, Bradford, Manchester and Liverpool.
- Ensure all cleaning standards and health and safety protocols are consistently met.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards.
- Monitor and report on cleaning performance and compliance with trust policies.
- Support the continuous improvement of cleaning services across the trust.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a clean and safe environment for students and staff.
- Provide leadership and motivation to the cleaning team to maintain a positive and productive workplace.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a cleaning or facilities management setting.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience working within a multi-academy trust or large educational institution.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in cleaning.
- Experience with flexible working arrangements and hybrid working models.
- A strong moral purpose and drive for improvement.
