The Opportunity:

A Computing & ICT Teacher is needed to inspire and engage students at all Key Stages, including Key Stage 5. The successful candidate will contribute to a dynamic and growing faculty with a strong focus on innovation and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Computing and ICT across all Key Stages, including GCSE and A Level Computer Science
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that promote student engagement and achievement
  • Develop and implement schemes of work in line with the school’s curriculum and assessment policies
  • Support students in developing digital skills and understanding of computing concepts
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the faculty
  • Contribute to the pastoral care and wider life of the school
  • Participate in staff development and training initiatives
  • Monitor and assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Computing and ICT
  • Experience teaching Computing and ICT at Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Ability to teach Key Stage 5 Computer Science
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to student learning and achievement
  • Experience working in a school environment

Preferred

  • Experience with Level 2 iMedia and Level 3 Digital Media qualifications
  • Experience in Initial Teacher Training (ITT)
  • Experience with assessment for learning strategies
  • Experience in a high-achieving school environment
  • Passion for developing innovative and engaging lessons
