Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality Construction lessons at GCSE and A Level.
• Foster a learning environment that encourages sustainability and innovation.
• Utilize technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement cross-curricular projects.
• Support students in developing practical and theoretical construction skills.
• Engage with parents and the wider community to promote the school’s values and initiatives.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and incorporate them into the curriculum.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic and personal growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor of Education (BEd) or a relevant degree with PGCE/PGDE (or equivalent teaching qualification)
• Proven experience teaching Construction at GCSE and A Level
• Strong IT and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and parents

Preferred

• Experience with curriculum innovation and sustainability
• Familiarity with AR and AI technologies in education
• Background in experiential learning and student-centered teaching
