Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England
• Foster a creative and inclusive learning environment that encourages student innovation and agency
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching and learning
• Support students in developing technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and design thinking
• Integrate technology and evidence-based approaches into lesson planning and delivery
• Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives
• Monitor and assess student progress to ensure outstanding learning outcomes
• Contribute to the extra-curricular programme and school events

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A B.Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge
• Over 3 years’ experience of the National Curriculum for England
• Proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning
• Experience of working within a high performing teaching team
• At least 2 years of experience teaching the National Curriculum of England

Preferred

• Experience with evidence-informed teaching practices
• Familiarity with cognitive science and learning theory
• Experience with technology-enhanced learning
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to global citizenship and student innovation
