Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching and learning by supervising students during cover periods.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
• Maintain discipline and manage student behavior effectively.
• Communicate clearly with staff and students to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with administrative tasks as required.
• Take on Community Time Break and Break Duty responsibilities.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of classroom leadership and group management.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Education up to at least Level 3, including computer literacy.
• Experience in a similar role, with proven group management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A high level of attention to detail.
• Confidence and reliability in working with secondary-aged students.

Preferred

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a teaching-related role.
• Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Knowledge of curriculum and teaching practices.
