Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Religious Education lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Foster a culture of respect, inclusion, and curiosity within the classroom.
  • Support students in developing their understanding of different faiths and beliefs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and student outcomes.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives, including extra-curricular activities and community engagement.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Contribute to the school’s pastoral care and well-being initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Religious Education and curriculum innovation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Religious Education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student well-being.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience in delivering engaging and innovative lessons.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching in a faith-based school setting.
  • Knowledge of different world religions and belief systems.
  • Experience in extra-curricular or pastoral support roles.
  • Familiarity with Catholic education values and practices.
