The Opportunity:

A Cricket Coach is needed to lead and develop the cricket program across all age groups. This role will involve coaching, mentoring, and contributing to match strategies, ensuring a high standard of play and player development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver group coaching sessions covering fundamental cricket skills
  • Plan and execute warmups, net sessions, drills, fielding, tactical classroom, and games-based sessions
  • Provide one-to-one coaching using bowling machines and support during matches
  • Umpire matches when required and contribute to team selection
  • Collaborate with existing staff members to ensure consistent coaching standards
  • Develop and implement training programs tailored to different age groups
  • Monitor and assess player progress and performance
  • Promote a positive and inclusive team culture

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in coaching cricketers at various levels
  • Strong knowledge of cricket techniques, tactics, and rules
  • Ability to lead and manage group and individual coaching sessions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to the development of young players

Preferred

  • Experience in working within an educational or school setting
  • Familiarity with youth sports development programs
  • Coaching qualifications such as ECB Level 2 or 3
  • Experience with player selection and match strategy
  • Strong understanding of player welfare and safety protocols
