The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Cricket Coach to lead and develop cricket programs for students of all ages. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to nurturing young talent and promoting the sport throughout the summer term.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead group coaching sessions covering all fundamental skills of cricket
• Deliver warmups, net sessions, drills, fielding, and tactical classroom sessions
• Conduct one-to-one coaching sessions using bowling machines where applicable
• Support and assist in match preparation, including umpiring and match coaching
• Contribute to team selection and provide input on player development
• Work collaboratively with existing staff to ensure a cohesive and effective coaching program
• Ensure sessions are engaging, structured, and aligned with the school’s sporting and educational goals

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in coaching cricket at all levels
• Strong knowledge of cricket techniques, rules, and strategies
• Ability to plan and deliver structured coaching sessions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to the development of young athletes

Preferred

• Experience in working with students in a school or educational setting
• Coaching qualifications such as Level 2 or 3 in Cricket Coaching
• Experience with match umpiring and game-based coaching
• Familiarity with sports technology and virtual learning environments
