The Opportunity:

As a Deputy Headteacher - Primary, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head Teacher and leading the Primary section. This position is ideal for someone passionate about driving curriculum innovation, promoting student welfare, and maintaining high teaching standards in an international setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head Teacher in managing the day-to-day operations of the Primary section
  • Lead and oversee the development and implementation of the curriculum
  • Promote and ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the Primary school
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers, staff, and students
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that encourages student wellbeing
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the educational experience
  • Drive professional development initiatives for teaching staff
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress and outcomes

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor Honours Degree (minimum requirement)
  • At least 4 years of teaching experience within a UK curriculum setting
  • Proven leadership experience in a school management or senior teacher role
  • Strong knowledge of primary education pedagogy and assessment methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage teams and lead change initiatives

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum development
  • Background in international education settings
  • Familiarity with Islamic values and Western educational practices
  • Experience with professional development and staff training programs
