As the Head of Primary PE, you will lead the development of a dynamic and engaging Physical Education program that promotes student wellbeing, achievement, and a lifelong love of sport. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Primary P.E. department to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
• Develop and implement a broad and challenging P.E. curriculum that aligns with school values and educational standards.
• Promote and support competitive sport and extracurricular activities across the Primary phase.
• Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to contribute to whole-school initiatives and events.
• Manage departmental resources and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Deliver high-quality P.E. lessons and support other professional duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• P.E./Teaching-related degree
• PGCE
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Minimum two to three years of leadership experience in a similar school setting

Preferred

• NPQML
• Swimming qualifications
• Specialism in Netball and/or Football
