Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5, including GCSE, A Level, and BTEC pathways.
• Plan and implement engaging schemes of work aligned with the UK National Curriculum and examination board requirements.
• Promote practical learning, creativity, and problem-solving through hands-on projects and investigations.
• Provide effective feedback and support to students during coursework and assessments.
• Ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment in the Design and Technology classroom and workshop.
• Use digital tools and blended learning approaches to enhance student engagement and progress.
• Support students with diverse needs, including EAL, SEN, and G&T learners.
• Contribute to curriculum development and cross-curricular initiatives that promote innovation and enterprise.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar role.
• Mandatory experience working in an international school.

Preferred

• Experience working with EAL students.
• Strong interpersonal skills for communication in a multi-cultural environment.
• Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to student well-being.
