Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the KS2 Curriculum to meet diverse learning needs.
• Manage classroom resources and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Support the development of teaching and learning strategies across the key stage.
• Plan and prepare lessons that cater to all ability ranges and promote critical thinking.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, EAL, and G&T.
• Collaborate with external professionals to meet the needs of all learners.
• Facilitate hybrid, distance, and face-to-face learning as required.
• Participate in curriculum action groups and contribute to school events and extra-curricular activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress and well-being.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education or equivalent with a mandatory post-teaching qualification (PGCE or similar).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching the England National Curriculum in a primary setting.

Preferred

• Experience working with EAL students.
• Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a multi-cultural environment.
• IT literacy and familiarity with online teaching technologies.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to child-centered education.
