Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons aligned with UK curriculum standards
• Plan and prepare engaging, student-centered lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
• Assess student work effectively and provide constructive feedback to support learning
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and collaboration
• Stay updated with best practices in Design and Technology education and incorporate new tools and technologies
• Support students in developing practical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience and curriculum delivery
• Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve teaching expertise

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design and Technology or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Design and Technology at the secondary/high school level
• Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum for Design and Technology
• Proficient in using design and technology tools, materials, and software
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Preferred

• Experience teaching within an international school setting
• Familiarity with Islamic values and cultural diversity in education
• Experience with cross-curricular project-based learning
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
