The Opportunity:

A school is seeking an outstanding Design Technology Teacher to join its dynamic department. This role offers the chance to deliver a high-impact curriculum, inspire students, and work in a forward-thinking, well-equipped environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver the IB Design & Technology course to the highest standards
• Teach Design & Technology across Key Stages 3-5, including A Level pathways
• Utilize advanced facilities such as laser cutters, 3D printers, and CNC routers
• Develop and deliver engaging Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs) in Design & Technology
• Collaborate with colleagues across the department and wider school community
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
• Maintain high expectations and drive excellent student outcomes

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Design & Technology or a directly related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and PGCE
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification teaching experience

Preferred

• Proven experience teaching Design & Technology
• Proficiency in CAD software and ability to integrate digital design tools into teaching
• Experience teaching across Key Stages 3-5, including A Level
