Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons aligned with the UK Design and Technology curriculum
• Design and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
• Assess student work effectively and provide constructive feedback to support learning
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and collaboration
• Stay updated with current trends and best practices in design and technology education
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience for students
• Manage classroom resources and materials to ensure a safe and productive learning environment
• Support students in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills through hands-on projects

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design and Technology or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Design and Technology at the secondary/high school level
• Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum for Design and Technology
• Experience in creating and delivering lesson plans that promote student engagement and learning
• Proficient in using design and technology tools, materials, and software applications
