Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum in Design and Technology.
• Monitor and support the academic and personal development of students.

• Contribute to raising standards of student progress and attainment.
• Prepare and update subject materials to ensure quality and relevance.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to stimulate engagement and learning.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures and policies.
• Assess, record, and report on student progress and development effectively.
• Participate in the development of syllabuses, resources, and teaching strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Strong subject knowledge in Design and Technology.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

• Experience with teaching resistant materials and engineering.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM and 3D printing technologies.
• Experience in curriculum development and resource creation.
• Background in vocational or academic qualifications in Design and Technology.
