Key Responsibilities:

- Support students in achieving their full potential, including those with additional needs or learning challenges.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to departmental development.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, including after-school clubs and enrichment programs.
- Monitor and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect and engagement.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in English or a related subject.
- Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and GCSE level.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to inclusive and differentiated teaching practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience teaching A-level English.
- Familiarity with modern teaching strategies and technologies.
- Experience in pastoral care or student support.
- Evidence of successful student outcomes and progress.
