Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons aligned with IBDP, IGCSE, and GCSE curricula.
• Design and implement engaging and challenging KS3 Computer Science programmes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the school’s overall curriculum.
• Support students in achieving academic excellence and developing essential digital skills.
• Participate actively in the wider school community and contribute to extracurricular activities.
• Provide pastoral care and guidance to students as part of a supportive learning environment.
• Stay up to date with advancements in Computer Science education and integrate new technologies into teaching.
• Mentor and support junior teachers where applicable.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A minimum of four years’ recognised teaching qualification, including a Bachelor’s Degree and Teaching Diploma or a Bachelor of Education.
• At least three years of full-time teaching experience in a recognised educational institution.
• Proven experience teaching IBDP Computer Science.
• Experience teaching IGCSE or GCSE Computer Science.
• Demonstrated ability in curriculum design for KS3.

Preferred

• Experience with curriculum development and innovation in Computer Science education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative school culture.
• Interest in leadership and school-wide initiatives.
