The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Design Technology Teacher to join our dedicated team. This role plays a key part in delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum and fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment that empowers students to become confident and independent learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning aligned with the Australian Curriculum
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment with a focus on student wellbeing
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support growth
• Build positive relationships with parents, colleagues, and the wider school community
• Contribute to school initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
• Encourage creativity, innovation, and practical skills in students through design and technology projects
• Support the development of student confidence and independent learning

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant subject area
• Recognised teaching qualification and professional registration (e.g., VIT, QTS, or equivalent)
• Experience in teaching within an international or Australian curriculum setting

Preferred

• Experience with Design Technology or related subjects
• Regional experience in the UAE or similar international setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to student wellbeing and safeguarding
