As a DP Business Management Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic and personal development of students in grades 11 and 12. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality DP Business Management curriculum aligned with the school’s educational model and IB standards.
  • Foster a classroom environment that encourages student engagement, critical thinking, and personal growth.
  • Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback to support learning and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and support a collegial school culture.
  • Promote the school’s mission and values through professional conduct and student interactions.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.
  • Support the integration of service learning, outdoor education, and mindfulness into the academic program.
  • Explore opportunities to teach additional subjects such as MYP Individuals and Societies, TOK, or lead SEL initiatives based on experience and need.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or a related field.
  • Relevant teaching experience in the IB or equivalent curriculum.
  • Strong understanding of the DP Business Management syllabus and assessment requirements.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to the values of the UWC movement and the IB Learner Profile.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching TOK or MYP Individuals and Societies.
  • Leadership experience in SEL or student well-being programs.
  • Background in outdoor experiential education or service learning.
  • Fluency in multiple languages, especially English and Thai.
