Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for grades 6 to 8, with opportunities to teach grades 9 and 10.
• Design curriculum that integrates the IB Learner Profile and the school’s educational model.
• Monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support continuous learning.
• Foster a classroom culture that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a growth mindset.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share best practices.
• Maintain open communication with parents to keep them informed of student progress and program expectations.
• Support students in taking ownership of their learning and developing resilience through mistakes.
• Promote the school’s mission and values through daily interactions and teaching practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A degree and professional teaching qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of successful teaching experience, preferably in an international school.
• Strong commitment to the IB philosophy and educational model.

Preferred

• Experience teaching in the MYP program.
• Knowledge of the UWC values and educational approach.
• Background in outdoor experiential education or service learning.
