The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Drama and English Teacher to join our dedicated team. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students across all key stages, from IGCSE to A Level, and to contribute to the vibrant academic and extracurricular life of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver engaging lessons to students of all ages and abilities
• Mark work and provide timely, constructive feedback to support student progress
• Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge through continuous professional development
• Select and use a variety of learning resources and equipment to enhance teaching
• Prepare students for qualifications and external examinations, ensuring strong outcomes
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, using a range of strategies to promote positive conduct
• Undertake pastoral duties, such as acting as a form tutor and supporting students' academic and personal needs
• Communicate regularly with parents and carers, and participate in departmental meetings and events

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or iPGCE)
• A degree in Education or a related subject
• Experience teaching Drama and English at the secondary level

Preferred

• Experience teaching in a British or international school setting
• Strong experience with ICT in the classroom
• Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities
