The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our Secondary team. This role involves delivering engaging lessons, supporting student progress, and contributing to the wider school community. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the academic and personal development of students in line with the Cambridge International Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver high-quality lessons to KS3 and KS4 students in accordance with the Cambridge International Curriculum
  • Mark student work and provide timely, constructive feedback to support learning and achievement
  • Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge through continuous professional development and create new curriculum materials
  • Select and use a range of teaching resources and equipment to enhance student engagement and learning
  • Prepare students for IGCSE Maths and other external examinations
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and apply the school’s Consequence System to promote positive conduct
  • Undertake pastoral duties, including form tutoring and supporting students through academic or personal challenges
  • Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding student progress and participate in school events

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or iPGCE)
  • A degree in Education or a related subject
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at the Secondary level

Preferred

  • Experience teaching in a British or international school setting
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Experience with the Cambridge International Curriculum
