Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum.
  • Mark work and provide timely, constructive feedback to support student progress.
  • Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge through continuous professional development.
  • Select and use a range of learning resources to enhance student engagement.
  • Prepare students for qualifications and external examinations.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and apply appropriate measures for student conduct.
  • Undertake pastoral duties, including form tutoring and supporting students through academic and personal challenges.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and participate in school events and meetings.
  • Support teaching assistants and trainee teachers in their professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or iPGCE).
  • A degree in Education or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching in a British or international setting.

  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with safeguarding and pastoral care.
