The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that challenge and engage students across all ability levels.
- Support students in achieving excellent results, with a strong track record of success in GCSE and A Level exams.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver a rigorous and innovative Maths curriculum.
- Participate in the school’s CPD programme and contribute to evidence-based teaching practices.
- Engage students in extra-curricular Maths activities, including competitions and enrichment opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student progress and wellbeing.
- Support the development of new teachers through mentorship and professional guidance.
- Contribute to the school’s digital strategy and use of technology in teaching and learning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths and the ability to teach to A Level.
- Experience in teaching Maths to high-achieving students.
- Commitment to professional development and evidence-based teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work collaboratively within a supportive department.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching Further Maths.
- Background in using digital resources and online platforms for teaching and learning.
- Experience in leading or supporting extra-curricular Maths activities.
- Experience in working with students from diverse backgrounds.
