The Opportunity:

As the Early Years Foundation Stage Headteacher, you will lead and manage the EYFS department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning aligned with Cambridge standards. This role is pivotal in shaping a nurturing environment that supports the holistic development of young learners and promotes continuous improvement in early years education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Early Years Foundation Stage department to ensure alignment with Cambridge curriculum standards.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and senior management to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing effective interventions to support individual learning needs.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement through professional development and staff training.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, stakeholders, and the wider school community.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and school policies.
  • Inspire and motivate staff to foster teamwork and a shared vision for early years education.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the learning experience for young children.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in early years education.
  • Strong knowledge of the Cambridge Early Years curriculum framework.
  • Proven leadership experience in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to monitor student progress and implement effective interventions.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Preferred

  • Experience in an international school setting.
  • Proven ability to build positive relationships with parents and stakeholders.
  • Experience with child-centered, holistic development approaches.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technology integration in early years education.
