The Opportunity:
As the Early Years Foundation Stage Headteacher, you will lead and manage the EYFS department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning aligned with Cambridge standards. This role is pivotal in shaping a nurturing environment that supports the holistic development of young learners and promotes continuous improvement in early years education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Early Years Foundation Stage department to ensure alignment with Cambridge curriculum standards.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and senior management to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing effective interventions to support individual learning needs.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through professional development and staff training.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, stakeholders, and the wider school community.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and school policies.
- Inspire and motivate staff to foster teamwork and a shared vision for early years education.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the learning experience for young children.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in early years education.
- Strong knowledge of the Cambridge Early Years curriculum framework.
- Proven leadership experience in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to monitor student progress and implement effective interventions.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Preferred
- Experience in an international school setting.
- Proven ability to build positive relationships with parents and stakeholders.
- Experience with child-centered, holistic development approaches.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technology integration in early years education.
